Big News

More big news...with the birth of baby number two I think it is time to make our family blog private.  I still plan to have a public blog that will show when I update our family blog BUT let's face it - there are too many weirdos out there.  SO if you still want to read my blog (which pretty much everyone does right?) please send me an e-mail to essentiallyneffblog@yahoo.com (I will just use this account to get your address so you can be a reader - don't use this as my e-mail for other stuff), or you can text me your e-mail, or if I already have it just let me know you want to read my blog. 

New baby girl!

Last week we were blessed to receive this beautiful addition to our family. Everything in the hospital went smoothly and now we are enjoying having our baby girl home with us.

She weighed 6 lbs. 4 oz. and was 19" long. She came a week early and seems very small.

It was really fun to have a new born baby this Easter. I feel lucky because I got to enjoy our first baby as a newborn during the Christmas season, which makes Christmas mean a lot more, and this year I got to enjoy another newborn during the Easter season which helped me focus on all of the blessings we celebrate during Easter time and how important the gifts of eternal life and eternal families are to me.

Our brand new big brother loves his new baby sister. He likes to hold her and cuddle with her. He has also been very soft around her. He does not love sharing the attention he gets from Mom and Dad. That adjustment has been something our whole family is still getting used to.
