Eric's 30th Birthday

we celebrated Star Wars style, which probably started off my whole Star Wars kick last month...check it out by clicking on the link to the right!

So I am currently working on preparing to redecorate my 4 year old's room for his birthday...in 4 months! Because we will have a new baby in a few months I decided to start now while I have the time and motivation.  I designed these graphics that I am going to print out and mount on foam core, if you are nerdy enough to know that these are all Star Wars symbols then you should be friends with my husband.

I also made my version of Star Wars subway art from some of our favorite quotes from the movies.  I think it tuned out pretty awesome.  I really debated using different fonts but I thought it looked cleaner all the same. Now I just hope it prints up ok and doesn't look super pixelated.  I used Adobe Illustrator to make the image but then I couldn't load any of those file types up into Costco's online printing program.  It was a really big hassle and I hope it all works ok.  I am WAY more comfortable in Photoshop than Illustrator.

I am not huge into spending a ton of $ on decorating my kids rooms but somehow my little girl has this super cute princess room and my son's has been really boring for like his entire life.  So I want his room to be as cute as hers but still not spend all my hard earned cash...meaning I get to make everything myself.  Lucky I have way more time than money :)
